I'd like to ask you a question; What if today, tomorrow, or the next day, the very worst thing that you can imagine were to happen?

I pray that it never does, but what if it did? What would you do, and how would you react?

In the story that we're going to share with you shorty, that is exactly what happened to an 11 year old girl, named Bethany.

Her story and everything that she went through is a powerful reminder to us all, that bad things can happen to anyone of us at anytime. An unexpected crisis or a tragedy can strike out of nowhere. Tragedy has a way of bringing out either the best in us, or the worst in us, and sometimes both. They can wake us up and get our attention quicker than anything else. A tragedy or a crisis can make us or break us. A major crisis, a setback, or a major blow can be traumatizing, crippling, and even paralyzing, it can bring the strongest of men to their knees in tears.

Along with the heartache, the pain, the trauma and the misery that tragedy brings with it, we will also uncover new opportunities. For at the center and at the heart of every tragedy and every crisis opportunities are born. Out of the chaos and the confusion, and out of the smoldering ashes that are left behind, we will be reborn, there will be a chance for a brand new fresh start and for new beginnings.

At some point in our lives, like Bethany the main character in our story, we will all face challenges, it may only be a minor challenge, a temporary glitch or setback, a  small snag or bump in the road, or it may prove to be, a life altering, life changing major challenge.

Most of our challenges and obstacles hopefully, will be only a minor inconvenience, a slight detour and distraction from our dreams and plans. They will be a minor nuisance like a small irritating mosquito bite. They may cause us a little irritaion, discomfort and slight pain or  a slight delay in fulfilling our dreams, but in the grand scheme of things, they probably won't have much of an impact on our lives.
