There are three essential ingredients to happiness
It's hard to hope? No matter what I do, I always seem to fail, nothing I do ever turns out right so why, should I hope and believe that things will get better?
First of all, everyone fails at something, nothing will go right all of the time. Giving up and quitting, is what causes you to fail. No great invention or accomplishment has ever succeeded without failure. It is very rare that we get it right the first time. It often takes many tries and attempts to get it right, just ask Thomas Edison who is credited with the creation the light bulb, the first motion picture camera, the first research laboratory and helped to create the phonograph and the telephone.
A reporter once asked Thomas Edison how did it feel to fail 1000 times, he said I didn't fail, it simply took me a thousand steps to finally get there, and in the process I found a thousand ways why it wouldn't work. Great success is often built on the back failure. Failure is not the result of falling down, it is the result of not getting back up when you fall. You know what if feels like to fail when you give up, now it's time for you to learn what what it feels like when you don't give up.
Failure, missteps and mistakes at some point is inevitable and unavoidable, it is giving up is unforgivable. Giving up is the only time when we truly fail. If we never give up, there is always a chance that we will eventually succeeded, but if we give up and surrender, there is no chance for success, that is when the battle is lost.
Giving up because of a setback, is like junking your car because one of your tires went flat. If we break down each letter in the word fail, f.a.i.l, the f, stands for; first, the a, stands for attempt, the i, stands for in, and the l, stands for learning. So to fail at something, means that it is our first attempt in learning how to do something. Failure is never the end. In fact if we break down the word e.n.d, e, is for-effort, n, is for-never, and d, is for die. Effort that never dies. If the effort never dies, there is always hope, there is always a possibility and a chance for success, even if it takes longer then we hope. If we try a hundred times and the answer is no, it simply means that we may succeed on the ( next ), ( opportunity ), which is what the letters in word no, stands for, n- next o-opportunity.
Failure is not giving up on something, it's giving up on yourself. Failure, is giving up too soon, and not seeing things through to the end. Failure, is being complacent and being set in your ways, doing the same things over and over and getting the same old results, we fail when we are not willing to make the necessary changes and corrections or learn to try a new and different approach to do things that will lead us to to different outcome.
When you have hope, you trust that things will turn out well in the end. You can see the potential possibilities and you take positive steps and actions that will make a positive outcome more likely. Hope is not tied to our expectations or a particular outcome, hope means that there is a potential for a good outcome, even when our expectations are not met. Hope tells us that there are many possibilities and many different roads to success even when there seems to be none.
Hope tells us that nothing lasts forever, everything changes, nothing is permanent not even the bad. When we have hope, it will open us up to see all the possibilities and opportunities, it will help us choose the best path forward to success, and we will be much more likely to make better choices and decisions, which will help us avoid a lot of the pain and heartache that brought us miserly. Hope is a compass, and anchor and the source of our strength.
We must embrace hope, and be prepared to overcome and let go of our doubts and fear, they are what keeps us tied, imprisoned and chained to failure. Hope doesn't just wish for things to happen, it makes things happen. Every thing we do, every choice and every action that we take, will take us to a particular place and destination, they bought us to where we are today, now, it's up to all of us to take actions and make choices that will lead us to where we want to go and will lead us the best outcome possible. It is the law of cause and effect. Our actions, our words, and our choices will effect the outcome of our life.
We must look for opportunities that will give us the best chance to succeed, that will bring us a positive outcome. The more we succeed, our confidence, our feelings of self-worth, our self-esteem and our self-respect will grow until we become unstoppable. That is the POWER of HOPE.
